Irichan
A moment to unwind in the city.
Irichan is an izakaya with a wide-ranging menu, from generously portioned omurice described as having an old-fashioned flavour to sashimi, stir-fries and rice dishes. There are plenty of options for making a meal of it.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
One appealing feature of Irichan is that its menu offers more than the small plates typical of an izakaya: you can also sit down to a substantial meal. Omurice is described as generously portioned and old-fashioned in flavour, while the menu also includes curry rice, fried rice, rice balls, ramen, soba and yakisoba. For a meal, you might choose the omurice or noodles; for something to eat alongside a drink, there are options such as a three-kind sashimi platter, chilled tomato and nukazuke pickles. The menu makes it easy to choose according to the occasion.
The sashimi selection includes tuna, squid, octopus, scallops and salmon, with a three-kind platter also available. For a more substantial dish, consider the meat and vegetable stir-fry, pork with ginger or simmered wagyu beef tendon. Draft beer is listed by mug and glass, and there are also high-carbonation lemon sours and highballs to pair with the food.
One customer felt that the selection of rice dishes was extensive and wrote that they would like to return for dinner. Irichan offers dine-in service and table service. It is open from 17:00 until 0:00 the following day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, and is closed on Wednesdays.
